What Jim Johnson means for the Angels- a run at the Japanese Babe Ruth

So my cousins have been waiting for the Angels to get great pitching. They of course have a former multi time AL MVP in Mike Trout. They have a strong bat in Albert Pujols. Their defense is great under Mike Scioscia. But pitching is often the criticism. Matt Shoemaker has shut out a few times, but isn't durable. Petit did not re-sign with the Angels. The Angels have yet to the Terry Francona-Mickey Callaway style of relief oriented pitching schemes. Signing Jim Johnson was a good start, but more importantly the Angels achieved more international pool money as a result. ​The hyped Shohei Ohtani is rumored by MLB.com to be on their radar. The 4 hour timezone difference from the East Coast could be tempting to Ohtani, being closer to Japan in addition to having Japanese crowds near the stadium. The Dodgers are in the mix as well however and if he wants a ring, he might want to join a team that has Justin Turner, Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager, in addition to Giancarlo Stanton.
