Madman Entertainment, the Australian distributor for many anime series such as Sword Art Online, has announced that they will be host to the premiere of the English dub version of the movie Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale. This premiere is set to take place at the anime convention, Madman Anime Festival Brisbane at 6:30PM on Saturday, June 10, at the AnimeLab Arena theatre.

Madman have announced that tickets to see the film will be set at $15 and can be purchased at the convention from the afternoon of June 9, at 4pm, and again on the morning June 10th at 9am. Even more, you do not need to be an attendee to the convention to purchase a film ticket, as it will be open to all members of the public. However, if you are a VIP convention attendee, you will get entry to the movie free.

Sword Art Online follows the story of an online gamer named Kirito that gets stuck in an online role playing game called Sword Art Online. In this game, players are forced to survive within this world under the threat of having their brains melted if they die in the game. Many other games have been introduced into the story since the conclusion of that death game, and Ordinal Scale is the latest story within the work of fantasy video games.
